The purpose of this role is to perform defect rectification and routine servicing as directed by the Cabin Engineer and Hangar Supervisor.
The purpose of this role is to perform defect rectification and routine servicing as directed by the Cabin Engineer and Hangar Supervisor.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform aircraft maintenance tasks as directed by a Cabin Engineer.
- Ensure that he is fully conversant with the tasks allocated to him.
- Ensure strict adherence to all pertinent safety precautions as published in manufacturer manuals and other publications.
- Ensure that the Cabin Engineer is kept fully advised of any impending service disruptions or problems.
- Ensure that the Cabin Engineer is informed of all work performed by him during his duty period.
- Ensure that all work meets the standards required by the regulations
- Ensure that replacement parts and components are of an approved type, correctly certified and released and are physically inspected prior to fitment to aircraft or component.
- Ensure strict adherence to all pertinent safety precautions as published in manufacturer manuals and other publications.
- Ensure that removed components are correctly handled, labeled and blanked.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years experience on Airbus aircraft in the above respective field.
- Excellent English communication skills
- PC literate
- Familiarity with airline operations
- Willing to work under harsh weather conditions and in rotating shift patters.
