We are pleased to announce an incredibly
exciting opportunity to join the Production team as a Contractor . As Aircraft
Technician Base Maintenance – Fixed Term Contractor, you will add immediate
value by performing maintenance activities, certification in accordance with EY
authorization and support Aircraft Engineers on all aspects of maintenance
carried out on aircraft(s).
This role is a fixed term contract for 36
months, renewable for another term or the possibility to move into a permanent
role, which will unlock opportunities for you, enabling you to further
develop your expertise within a progressive culture where a huge emphasis is
placed on investing in the best talent.
GENERAL
RESPONSIBILITIES
Policies
and Procedures
Follow all relevant policies, processes
and procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent
manner
Day-to-Day
Operations
Implement the day-to-day standard
operations assigned to ensure compliance with the established standards and
procedures. Refer to supervisor for complex tasks which may require exceptions
to procedures
Safety,
Quality &Environment
Comply with all relevant safety, security,
quality, health and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work
environment
SPECIFIC
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure Maintenance is performed at the
highest level in accordance with relevant technical Data and in that respect
keeps him/herself updated on current and new Technical and Quality Notices
issued also general/technical information.
Ensure maximum attention is given to on
time performance, by assuring that all materials, tooling and equipment along
with associated documentation is prepared in advance to the task in hand.
Inform and consult with LAE as required to
enable LAE to maintain a complete overview of Aircraft.
Maintains a FOD free working area and
cleans up bay area before and after work.
Develop one self and increase Aircraft
knowledge with ultimate goal for further career development. Accepts
appropriate training that will enable a more effective contribution
Be proactively involved in all Health and
Safety matters.
Promote a reporting culture that aligns
with the companies’ ethos.
Ensures that all unused serviceable and
unserviceable items are returned to stores with the correct label attached.
Ensures any tooling or equipment used is
duly cleaned and returned in serviceable condition, or clearly labeled if
defective.
EDUCATION
& EXPERIENCE
Minimum valid aircraft maintenance course
certificate.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience of which 2
years should be within Base maintenance.
TRAINING
& KNOWLEDGE
Excellent knowledge of aircraft
maintenance operations
Excellent knowledge of aviation
regulations (UAE GCAA , EASA and FAA)
