Air Arabia Jordan is the newest airline in the kingdom of Jordan. This venture is part of the first and largest low-cost carrier (LCC) in the Middle East and North Africa “Air Arabia Group of Companies”. The airline is set to operate through Amman Queen Alia International Airport in Jordan and will be its fifth fixed-based operation globally.
Air Arabia Jordan’s operation is expected to commence in the first quarter of 2015 and are looking to recruit a Cabin Crew Manager.
The purpose of this role is to manage the day to day cabin crew operations and on board customer service delivery in accordance with the corporate objectives and the regulatory requirements ensuring high standards of service and maintaining the security and safety of operation across the network.
Requirements:
- Experience 5 years as a cabin crew member and 5 years working in the cabin crew Dept. as ground support i.e. welfare, training, leading or managing crew in addition required together with an appropriate cabin crew certificate and formal qualification is an advantage.
- Skills:
- Judgment and Decision Making — Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions so as to choose the most appropriate one
- Critical Thinking — Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
- Active Listening — Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times
- Management of Personnel Resources — High level of diplomacy is needed when dealing with crew frustrations caused by other departments.
- Management of Material Resources — Obtaining and seeing to the appropriate use of equipment, facilities, and materials needed to do certain work
- Social Perceptiveness — Being aware of others' reactions and understanding why they react as they do.
